Imani celebrated her 19th birthday with us at our Big Top show!

It was wonderful to see her sitting ringside with her Dad, meaning that she had a great view of our show despite the fact that she is a wheelchair user.

Sven, her father, told us that our show was a great opportunity to ‘come and gather with people who have different levels of ability and have fun together.’

He felt that their visit to Circus Starr had a positive impact on Imani.

‘Wow! It was great fun! Plenty of singing, clapping and being part of the show. We loved every minute.’

‘We were all buzzing after the show! It had a great ambience.’

Imani and Sven were able to experience our show thanks to the support of businesses in their area, something that he thinks is important.

‘This kind of support brings the community at large together. We can easily be forgotten because of the challenges involved. The businesses are recognising that we are all a community that needs to be together which is fantastic. Thank you!’
