Circus Starr are excited to be heading out on tour with new wings to match their stage backdrop.

The backdrop was designed earlier in the year and features a dreamy design of clouds and stars.

Paint has been used to build up subtle overlapping clouds. It is a gentle design that will not take away from the performance itself.

Whilst our shows are taking place indoors we wanted to bring a touch of our Big Top to the performance, which previous audience members may remember featured a starry canopy.

As a nod to our previous tent design we had stars scattered on top of the clouds.

All of the stars feature gold glitter which adds a sensory element to the performance as they shimmer and shine under the stage lights.

The backdrop is a canvas for our artists to perform in front of.

Using light shades of blue means that our visually impaired audience members are more likely to notice things that they  may miss on a darker background.

For example, our clown Lucus has very tall black hair which is part of his comical demeanour, something that is easily missed when he performs in front of a black backdrop.

After receiving lovely feedback from our main backdrop debut in the Spring, we are delighted to say that we have now extended this design to be featured on our wings too.

We are excited to fill all of the stages on our Autumn tour with our magical screens and make some fun memories with disadvantaged children.
