12 year old Owain came along to the show with his 10 year old brother, who he loves going on adventures with.

The pair were able to make magical memories together at our community event after receiving tickets from Owain’s special school, which he attends due to having Noonan syndrome.

His Mum, Gemma, advised us that the syndrome affects him developmentally and health wise.

“Owain has a range of sensory issues, struggles with places that are too busy, or he’s not been to before. He doesn’t always understand things such as being quiet at times and acts much younger than his age.  He also can find days out tiring and just too much.”

As our event is accessible and inclusive, it was a great opportunity for the family to go out together and have fun.

“We all felt really happy and comfortable. We weren’t concerned that people would be watching how Owain behaved. It felt safe and relaxing as you knew everyone life’s the same or similar to you, did not feel like people where watching your child”

We all had fun and it added to another memory in our memory banks which are so important when you live in a world of hospital appointment. You support is not just helping Circus Starr to put on a show, you are giving children time to laugh and make memories!”
