Rio loves music, dancing, and our show! He has been to Circus Starr three times with his big brother, and we’re excited to welcome him back in the future too!

He got tickets from his pre-school because he has Down Syndrome. The tickets were free for the family as local businesses had kindly donated to Circus Starr.

Kimberley, his Mum, told us about the challenges Rio can face on family trips, and how it was different at Circus Starr.

“Sometimes it can be difficult for Rio to stay seated, and he can become overwhelmed by loud noises and lots of people.

But it was different at Circus Starr. We felt completely comfortable, and Rio was free to be himself. It’s a lovely experience being surrounded by other families in similar situations.

We would like to say huge thank you to all the businesses that support Cirus Starr, it means so much to families like ours.”
